4. Sodium Hydroxide

5. Sprite

6. Red Cabbage Indicator

1. Put your test tubes in order from acid to alkaline. List them on your blog.

2. Take a photo of your experiment and upload it.

3. Write up your experiment with the scientific method.

Bye guys come again

Cultural Identity Reflection

Hey guys

Today I am going to be writing about my Cultural Kete.  This is where we find out what our culture is, then we chose a practice and start gathering information on that practice and until the finishing date, where we present our work for all the school to view. On the day of presenting our work on period 3 our teacher brought us out to the stage for a few performances and then we walked around looking at everyone's. The culture that I am from and have been working on is Scotland but I was not born there but my dads side came from there my practice that I have been researching is games and sports so I found a sport/game which is Caber Toss  and I made a question my question is How was Caber Toss developed and why is it significant to Scotland  and did my work on it. Here are three things that I want to share about my work 1. Caber toss was developed in a war when the soldiers needed to cross the freezing cold rivers they got big logs and threw them across to make a bridge 2. A caber the logs is made from a Larch tree 3. To play the thrower must lift the Caber and cup the small end have a small run up and then throw the pole is to land straight and then flip over so the small end is opposite the thrower. My feelings about the day were proud that I finished in time and had some good work to finish with and the culture being celebrated I felt happy and proud to be in that culture.

Here is my work

pH

Hey guys Here is a blog about pH

Definition pH (Potential of hydrogen) Is a  scale of acidity from 0 to 14  with 7 being neutral

pH being explained

All solutions have a pH. Acid solutions have lower pH Alkaline solutions have a higher pH. Substances that aren't acid or alkaline that is neutral solutions usually have a pH of 7 Acids have a pH that is less than 7 Alkaline have a pH that is greater than 7.

The pH scale

📖 My Persuasive Writing 📖

 Hey Guys

Today I am going to show you my writing that I have been working on for a few days

it is a piece of persuasive writing it is about why schools should have a

fizzy drink option I hope you like it!

Read On!

Writing starts after the line

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

School Fountains Should Have A Fizzy Drink Option

Do you like fizzy drinks? Would you like to have free fizzy Drinks?

So why not let students have fizzy drink options at school. Students would be alot happier

and could produce better work. It would be more fair for the students. And there would be

an amount limit.

If students had a choice of fizzy drinks then they would be alot happier. When they are

happier they will be more ready for learning. If they are happier they will produce better

work. If they aren't happier they can suffer from depression. 25% of students suffer

from depression a year. So don’t let them suffer! Lots of students

Everyone likes fizzy drinks don’t they? So why should students have to miss out? It would be unfair!

Some students never get to have a fizzy drink. This would be giving them a chance to try..At least 30% of students haven’t even tried fizzy drinks. And that is a lot of people who

haven’t tried it.

The fizzy drink feature would have a fizzy drink option where there will be settings for

each time your child uses them they will only fill the bottle a certain amount. So the

students won’t load up on sugary drinks. So then they can’t bring lots of water bottles

from home fill them all up and brings them home.

So you think schools should have fizzy drink? Is it fair that students don’t get fizzy drinks

at school or not? Well it is unfair! Also the students won’t get to have that much drink and

students would be happier to produce more and better work.So overall we should have

fizzy drink let there be fizzy drinks at school!
