Chilli Tasting Experiment
Aim p To see which is the best way to cool down the hot chilli taste in your mouth when eating chilli.
Hypothesis - I think that by using milk I will be able to remove the hot chilli taste from my mouth.
Equipment
1. Milk
2. Water
3. Coca Cola
4. Tasting cup
5. Chilli
Method 1. You will work in groups. of three for this experiment. Each person in the group will use one of the drinks with the chilli. You will then swap results with your group so that everyone has the same results
2. Each Member of the team needs to have their own tasting cup. This will be used for putting the different liquids in as we cool off the chilli in our mouths
3. Place a piece of chilli in your mouth.
4.You will drink the liquid that you have in your cup. As you do this you will complete a results chart

Summary And Results
The milk did not work immediately After 3 minutes it had a small effect
The coke had a small effect immediately coke had no effect after 3 minutes
The water did not work immediately The water did not stop the chilli after 3 minutes
Conclusion
Milk could be a solution when eating spicy foods ------ Literally That's because milk helps your mouth handle capsicum an oily chemical compound in chilli peppers Capsicum binds to a receipter in the tongue and creates a burning sensation. Casein protein found from in the milk can also bind to the capsicum and wash it away.

5. How dose it work
The number of Scoville Heat Units (SHU) in a pepper or even hot sauce indicates the amount of capsaicin present. The higher the Scoville rating, the hotter the pepper.

Today we are doing blind taste testing
Equipment -
1. Paper
2. Blindfold glasses
3. Recording Chart
4. Ice cream stick taster
Method -
1. Get safety glasses and make a blindfold
2. Set up your chart and make sure that the person you are working with records what you think it is
3. Using an ice - cream stick you will dip it into the Sample. Once the sample is on the stick you will taste it and tell your partner your response
4. There will be 2 answers
5. When you taste test you need to hold your nose
Answer 1 sweet salty sour of biter. Record it
Answer 2 What do you think it is record it
6. Repeat this for the next samples but you will only need to use your ice - cream stick taster for samples 1-4
The Bunsen Burner
Method
1. Get your Bunsen Burner out of where it is supposed to be.
2. Put the Bunsen Burner on the heat mat and put the heat mat on the table.
3. Set the Bunsen Burner to the gas pipe.
4. Put on your safety glasses.
5. Turn on the gas to light the Bunsen Burner.
Equipment needed
1. Bunsen Burner
2. Safety Glasses
3. Heat Mat
4. Tripod
5. Gauze Mat

Today I am going to be showing you what we have been doing in art we have been making a stop motion is similar to an animation but you take lots of photos and then put them together and play them and it will make a small video of a character moving that makes a video or a story and then you could add some voicing you can use the stop motion app to make this ours is about how there is a space alien and a sea alien the sea alien has lots of pearls and treasure then the space alien comes and steals all the pearls for himself so that he can become king of all the space aliens by moving a statue with his powers and then knocking her out and then taking off in her contraption then the sea alien flies up the sea alien comes and takes her pearls back in a epic battle bobretta comes and helps then when they get back to the sea the sea alien reveals a special pearl that was hidden underneath a golden seat if that pearl fell into the wrong hands all the sea creatures would die then there is a the end scene. where there is clay that spell the end and then a fish swims by then the stop motion finishes
